necessary to run the full race: be the tortoise, not the hare.

After struggling from its cocoon, the caterpillar emerges a butterfly. It is from that struggle that those beautiful wings have the amazing strength to defy gravity and fly!

WORKING

Work, in humans, is the dynamic that, when employed, builds character and integrity. In budgets, as in career, it has humble beginnings.

Honesty is not the best policy, it is the highest principle. The most important person to be honest with is ones' self. Fortunately, it is not as important to be totally honest with creditors, and turnabout is fair play.

Sales skills are important. You must present your offer confidently and honestly, just not with full disclosure. Creditors do it. Creditors meet regulatory disclosure standards. It's written in a language even your Senator probably doesn't understand.

You may feel intimidated by the collector. Don't fear the reaper. If one collector harasses you, ask to present the offer to his or her supervisor. If he or she is the supervisor, hang up and call his or her supervisor.

Do not drag out the explanation: creditors want their money back; most will work with you, and will even let you know what they will accept, to build into the plan.

'Integrity,' though, is very important to your creditors. and, hopefully, to you also. If there are any interruptions in the plan, let them know. If you have excess, give it to them. If you honestly, and with integrity, stick to the blueprint, you will have a solid and stable foundation upon which to build.

After working with differing principles on three houses with differing degrees of integrity, the three little pigs slew the big, bad wolf with the help of the best built house!

Bailing, in humans, is the dynamic that lingers as dependency and reinforces cycles.

Pro-rating agencies will work for you. Just do it yourself. Allowing another to do for you that which you are unwilling to do for yourself is dependency. If you let it linger, it will. The 'universal truth' of inertia applies to lingering also, provided, of course, that it is lingering 'in this universe.'

Bankruptcy, however, is the only option for some people and families, and, unjustly, the easy way out for others.

First consider attorneys. Attorneys will tell you your options, tell you the consequences, and process paperwork for you. A reputable attorney is one who does what is best for his or her client. That is a very high and rare principle; try to find it. There are diamonds amongst
