What is truth?
The answer to this question will vary, depending on who you ask.
What you believe or disbelieve does not make truth.
Sometimes what people are taught and believe for many years prove to be false.
Only one person in history not only claimed to know the truth, but claimed to "Be" the truth. Jesus Christ, the son of God.
In all of history, Only one book stands alone from all others.
The Holy Bible. Found in nearly every home in America.
Whether in a bookcase or on a living room coffee table possibly on your night stand next to your bed, It is by far the most popular book in history.
People have fought wars, found comfort and have been blessed by the words of this Holy Book.
It has surpassed persecution, hatred and the rise and fall of nations.
Although it may sit dusty, unread and put aside somewhere in your home, you would have to admit having possession of it brings a strange sense of wonder.
Having this book in your home is an absolute miracle considering it's history, It's a book like no other.
I recall as a small child intrigued with the family Bible, with the Renaissance artwork of biblical stories.
Making the stories of the Bible come to life.
What is so different about this book that can't be compared to any other?
Within the cover holds the secret.
All scripture is given by the inspiration of God. Literal translation is "all scripture is God Breathed".
The Holy Bible claims to be a letter, a love letter from God to mankind.
It was given by God for doctrine, reproof, correction, and for instruction in righteousness.
It is a timeless document that when applied can change the course of individuals or nations.
What is it about this book that can cause such division, anger, joy and comfort?
Many in past years have remarked of it's contradiction.
Sadly, it is the most misunderstood, misquoted, abused book that has caused a multitude of accusations from it's readers.
The Holy Bible is alive, when quoted it can cut down to the marrow.
It forces you to see yourself for who you are, not as you perceive yourself to be.
Certainly, the Holy book has the uncanny ability to skim off the masks and leave you standing bare and vulnerable.
Unsurprisingly, the Bible has seen centuries of abuses and accusation.
Unfortunately for those who cherish the words within, oddly enough, disagreements abound.
Why is this so?
Because the person reading it may have predetermined bias, pride, and hostility.
Not taking into account that these words are God Breathed and settled.
There is no room for changing
