Individualism to me, today, is a funny word. I live in California where everyone has taken being "different" so far that now everyone just looks crazy. It just wouldn't be right if your very own dentist didn't have a whole sleeve tattooed. Wild haircuts are a dime a dozen, and you can even go pull your old KISS jacket out of your closet and be cool.

I can honestly say I have been through all of these trends and I am very afraid to see whats next. What will you do when your body covered with tattoos and piercings just isn't cool anymore? Or maybe going through these trends or phases is just a search to find yourself and your own personal style.

To me the person who really has it all together is the average Joe. The guy that wakes up in the morning throws on the first pair of pants and t-shirt he sees on and doesn't look back. He could care less what other people think about him because he is perfectly fine with how he is. He gives his girlfriend a huge kiss on the cheek and is off to work in his beat up Reebok's from the shoe warehouse. I wish life was so simple ha ha!
