When l first started out marketing on the internet l decided that l would refuse to pay any money for advertising and all of my traffic would be generated for free using the free organic search engine traffic or other methods would would mean that you don't have to rely upon the search engines or pay per click.

Here's a few of the methods that l have used and still use today........

Before l reveal these methods one thing you should consider before you jump in and start to design your website or webpages is what you actually want to achieve with your website, is it going to be a free website? an adsense website? an affiliate website? or any other website as the design and planning could dictate the type of customer you go after and how targeted your traffic is.

Last but not least is that no matter how much highly targeted traffic you drive to your website, unless you know how to convert it, it will be a complete waste of your time and money, so you must do your due diligence before you start.

Heck this is beginning to sound like war and peace....so let's get on with it and start giving you some methods that work well and work everytime here goes........

This is an example of a website that l put together after , yes l said after l got my traffic, stay with me it will all become apparent.

Unless you have your head buried under the sand you will already know that content and keywords are what drive the internet, folks go to a web-browser and that will type whatever they are searching for, the search engines then return the content for them.

Whilst that may seem obvious to the more experienced among you, this information also applies to the newsgroups on the internet and there are hundreds of thousands of them, already divided up for you into niche markets of people passionate about their subject and if you offer these people any kind of product or service that relates to their passion, then they will whip their credit cards faster than you can say Jack Robinson.

Google groups are one of my favourites and this is how l generated tons of visitors and made a stack of money inside two months from scratch without spending a dime.

I have a passion for labrador Retrievers and found several google groups that were mad keen about them as well, soon after l joined l sent them an email in the discussion forum and said l was new to the group and was about to purchase a labrador puppy and asked them for any hints or tips they could give me on training or care of labrador puppies.
