Behind this mask can you see what I'm thinking?
Can you look straight into my eyes without shamefully blinking?

Can you look beneath the outside and see what lies within?
Can you finish my words before they even begin?

Can I trust you to hold my hand, as well as my heart?
Can you carry out the promise that we will never part?

I'll tell you all my secrets, promise every word is true.
But before I promise anything, I have to trust in you.
