You just did something that you know you shouldn't have and you need to talk to someone about it. Are in the mood to be told the up front honest truth about your actions no matter how harsh? Or are you leaning more toward a gentle scolding. Our friends each bring something new and different to the equation that is our life. Just because you tell select secrets to some that you withhold from others, does not mean that they are any more or less a "best friend." More important than the title of best friend is the connection that you have. Are you best friends because you braid each other's hair every night and tell stories; or are you best friends because he/she has been there and seen you through some of the tough decisions and crossroads in your life? However many people fit the description of your "best" is acceptable, there's no cut off point, no "best friend threshold" where no more friends can be added. Our hearts are big enough to love as many people as necessary, so I say, the more the merrier. The bigger your support net, the happier you'll be.
