You meet a friend every now and then
A person with whom you can be you.
A friend and you form a friendship
Friendships are bonds that are true.

You meet a friend every now and then,
It's for certain friends are what we need.
For friends make life pleasant, joyous and good,
Friendships are heaven blessed indeed.

Friends are sometimes nearer than kin
For kin may not live in your city or town
But friends who are near can open their arms
And with love and understanding you surround.

Friendships are better than money, I know,
I've experienced it many a time.
Money can only buy material things
But friends provide comfort and and won't charge you a dime.

If it wasn't for friendships, where would we be?
Isolated, lonely, and glum.
So the next time you feel like you need your friends
Give them a call - they'll come.
THAT'S WHAT TRUE FRIENDSHIP IS ALL ABOUT!
