I wonder why a former Member of Congress would become a Lobbyist after that person leaves office? Maybe whoever that person is and most likely was trying to influence our Government decided to give the former Congressperson another chance to influence those who are still in office. Maybe that person also paid big money under the table to that former Congressperson and got nothing. So now that person wants the former Congressperson to earn what it got. Are we talking about political corruption?

You better believe that those huge campaign contributions made to the candidates who are running for a Political Office within one of the branches of the Government of the United States of America is just a prepayment for the expected support of the candidate in question. This is, if that particular candidate does win the election to that Public Office.

The fact or the matter is that there isn't much difference between a lobbist and a paid-off corrupt Politician who simply obeys the wishes of its largest contributors. I myself wonder if most of our elected politicians are complying with their sworn oath to "Obey, Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States of America."

"We People of the United States of America" are currectly in big trouble and that trouble is due to the fact that for the last forty years our elected do-nothing worthwhile for the majority of "We People" politicians have favored the rich majority, rather than to faithfully serve the majority of the people within our once great Nation. If they did, tens of thousands of "We People would not have lost or be losing their homes. Millions of "We People" would not be going deeper into debt. Millions of "We People" would not become homeless. Millions of "We People" would not have lost their job to a foreigner within a foreign Country. Millions of illegal aliens would not be hiding within the United States of America. Tens of millions of crimes committed by the members of violent street gangs would have been prevented. Last but not least, tens of thousands of tons of deadly, addictive and illegal drugs would not have entered our Country and each of "We People" would have affordable health care insurance.

Clearly, we do not need or want politicians who work for special interests while all the while they are supposed to be working for the majority. We are also talking about what could be a conflict of interests. That too is a form of political corruption. I wonder if there still are honest politicians within our Government who want to make life better for the majority? Your guess is as good as mine.

Our elected politicians should be doing the work for the majority of all of the people. They should also make a list of the issues that most concern the majority and work only for the good of the majority.
