I open my mouth to speak
and instead of words spirits
breathe forth and take on
a life of their own.
A deeper clearer state of mind
is needed to bring forth
the true meaning
of all these images
A measured cadence
that brings out the music
that lies locked
in all language, like flies in amber.
All art
aspires to the condition of
music and all music
aspires to the condition of -
silence
