The first test is curiosity. If curiosity in riding a motorcycle is there you might want to try just riding behind a rider. If you feel awkward embracing the rider from behind there could be some doubts whether riding a motorcycle is for you. The next day you tried riding again behind a rider and you seem to have gotten the hang of it and you begin to enjoy the breeze. You start saying that you seem to enjoy the freedom of like flying like a bird but close to the ground. The feeling of fun progresses and you wanted to ride it by yourself. Your friend stops you and says that you can not ride it by yourself because it is dangerous if you are riding by yourself for the first time. You are persistent and told your friend that you have been riding a bicycle for quite a while and learning to ride a motorcycle should not be that difficult. Your friend allowed you under the condition that he rides behind you. He showed you how to operate the machine and there you go you are now riding the motorcycle with your friend holding you behind your back. Now, you wanted to ride alone by yourself, but he still not confident to let you ride his motorcycle alone.
You love to ride it alone. You really have the passion. After a few days you asked your friend to accompany you to the dealer to buy a motorcycle of your own. When this happens to you, it means that riding a motorcycle is really for you.
