Solving back problems with the help of a chiropractor is key. However, one common link people miss is the use of massage therapy in conjunction with a chiropractor. Without this element, your chiropractic care may drag on longer than it needs to.
Many muscles connect to your spine. A misalignment of the spine will pull the muscles out of alignment, causing them to become tight. If you have a chiropractic adjustment without having the muscles worked, the new (incorrect) alignment of your muscles will cause the spine to pop right back out of alignment.
It works the same way in reverse. A muscle injury can also pull the spine out of alignment. Working the muscles may help the muscle pain, but it'll come back if the misaligned spine pulls the muscles right back to the place they were.
It's definitely possible to solve back problems with a chirpractor. Just make sure he or she is knowledgeable and has a massage therapist on staff. Even if that portion of your therapy is only a few minutes, it's worth it's weight in gold!
