Great crocheted Mother's Day gifts

A gift for a mother comes from the heart. The love and care she gave her child shines back at her through that gift.
Because of it it is much more valuable, than any other gift on a planet. Crochet for your mother anything, she will love it.

I remember, when I was a teenager, my mother got a crocheted waistcoat as a gift from her relative. That vest was more like a pay, since our distant relative was staying at our apartment for several months out of my mom's kindness. The vest was crocheted superbly, loop to loop was laid by tiny hook, the pattern was complicated, yet elegant, the color was my mom's color, burgundy. I was astonished at how well the thing looked, since I never held the hook in my hands. My mother appreciated this gift, but not for too long.

I can't forget that the gift was hanging in the wardrobe for the longest time, worn infrequently, then almost never, then it was stuffed in a far corner of the closet. Eventually, after asking just once, I took a hold of it and have sewn it into the cutest top for myself, harvesting tons of compliments from my friends.

Time came, I finally learned how to crochet and here I was searching through magazines, choosing fancy pattern, following instructions, and trying not to screw up. I was crocheting a fashionable vest for my mom, color purple, more like violet.
I made mistake after mistake, I was redoing several times, my unexperienced hands working zealously the intricate loops and turns. I can't brag too much about the result, the vest ended up being a bit longer, than anticipated, as if someone stretched it purposefully. I gave this gift to my mom at a last minute, and was surprised to learn that she loved it. Not only she showered me with praise, she also wore it to work every day. Long since Mother's Day, my mother was loudly praising my crocheted vest
"What a vest! What a miracle! My daughter has golden hands!". Years passed, and the vest has been fixed many times and darned, until threads could not hold together any more, but my mother's love held still.
Crochet for your mother anything... She will love it.
