With the additives in todays food chain, you bet you cellulite a* I want to know what I am eating. Whether I am at a well known restaurant chain or an exclusive Bistro, I feel that I am entitled to know what I am putting into my temple, also known as my body. With most of the North American population leaning very heavily on the obese side, we should all be demanding to know what we are eating and how much of it. Perhaps if some of these practices had been available years ago we would not have such weighty issues in front and behind us.

I feel that if restaurants want us to keep spending our money on their food and drink offerings, then we are entitled to know what we are eating. I can see how the government is not in any hurry to require by law for eating establishments to incorporate this practice, as the government and Wall St. in particular would lose billions of dollars. It seems that Wall St. is in charge of what and when we eat. With so many dollars going into subsidies for some types of farmers, the government and investors need to get their money and more back. The only way to do this is to put things like corn, into literally every part of our eating chain, whether it be in the feed for the animals, or in the processed food we eat, we are in fact eating huge amounts of corn. If you have ever seen an animal which eats huge amounts of corn you would be shocked at the change in their appearance over time. A calf who is fed a large diet of corn actually starts to look like a pig rather quickly. They lose most of their hair, their faces start to elongate and become snout like. Have a close look at the obese side of our population and you will see similarity's. Obese women quite often have thinning hair, their face shape changes dramatically. Men are not immune to this phenomena either. Add on top of the obvious feature changes the hormonal facts as well. Why are young girls developing mature body features at such a young age? Mostly due to the hormone supplements found in dairy products. Now I am not here to beat up our food industry, but if mandatory food labeling can be imposed on the restaurants, then what about the rest of the food delivery sources. Sometimes seeing the cold hard facts in print is enough to make us stop and really think about we are doing to ourselves. So, yes, count me in as saying that I do want restaurants to have to list calories, salt, fat, and where the food comes from. is it American, Canadian, or from overseas? I don't think that that is too much to ask, after all it is my temple and I want to be able to worship it for as long as possible, from all sides.
