Today's dating is far different than the dating of Disney World's time. Young people today know enough not to expect their prospective partner to be Mr. gallant prince charming or Miss fairy tale princess. In a world of fast moving technology most every couple know all about each other just by browsing the Internet. In this day and age there is no such thing as a secluded life or privacy anymore, unless you live way out in a no man's land where there is no technology or modern lifestyle of any kind.

In today's modern society we are mapped and tracked from the day we are born until the day we expire. At birth we are registered and given a a birth certificate. At our entrance school age we are registered with a board of education and at graduation from grade schools and high schools we are given certificates of evaluation upon our completion. Then if we go onto college or university we are there then capable of gaining access to whatever further knowledge we wish to acquire and get certifications and degrees for that.

My point is that with the knowledge and the technology we have today most young couples are well capable of being aware of what type of partner they wish to date and what expectations they want from each other. Besides there are even assorted TV programs which do just that...."Play the dating game". Today's young couples are more in touch with reality and seem to be more down to earth when it comes to what they expect during a date.
