Songs: Remembering love

by Brian Bishop

Created on: July 19, 2007

If there's one thing I've learned,
in this cold lonely world,
it's that love don't come easy.
It has to be earned.

Sorry for all the things,
I did not say or do,
but mostly I'm sorry,
cause I don't have you.

This old heart here is hurt,
cause I know I did wrong.
Even though it's too late.
I'd like to send you this song.

I'm sorry, so sorry
for the things that I've done.
I drove you away,
sent your love on the run.
Now I'm here all alone,
and I can't find myself,
living life here without you,
is a living hell.

If I could take back the pain,
dissolve all the tears,
and fix all the hurt,
I've caused through the years.

If I could just stop my mind,
from wandering away,
to the family I've lost,
and the folks left behind.

If there's one thing I've learned,
in this cold lonely world,
its that love don't come easy.
It has to be earned.

I'm sorry, so sorry
for the things that I've done.
I drove you away,
sent your love on the run.
Now I'm here all alone,
and I can't find myself.
Living life here without you,
is a living hell.
It's a living hell.
