As of now, the Apple iPhone is nothing more than just that...a phone. Sure it has web browsing capabilities and email accesibility, however it just doesn't have any core features that are any different from your good ol' fashion Blackberry, and those do not cost six hundred dollars.

The Apple iPhone is a prime example of what Apple does best, and that is taking a product or service and putting that lovely Apple magic dust on it that makes it incredibly easy to navigate for the user coupled with lovely product design and packaging. The iPod at it's core is still an MP3 player with a lovely interface, and the iPhone is still just a phone with the incredible flick to use interface.

You might have noticed that earlier I said "as of now", and that is because Apple has installed the iPhone with Mac OS, giving Apple the flexibility to perform incredible upgrades via a simple firmware download. So while right now the iPhone is simply a risky investment; it could eventually revolutionize the mobile computing market, but for now it will just have to stick with rejuvinating it.
