How to add 2,000 steps to your day

from the one channel to the other but stay up and walk around to your television and do it manually.
Have you ever noticed how many times you used the remote control for different gadgets? I am always sure you will answer me "many times". If you avoid this you can easy add extra steps to your day.

* Walk for a longer time than usual or take an extra one before you go to work and one in the evening. Maybe if you have time you can insert one in the afternoon.

*Make more variation in your day! Don't watch the entire day television and search for activities where you need to move from one place to another. For example you start with watching a movie or another television program. Walk around if there is a commercial break and go to another room for drinking a glass of water or something else. When the movie is finished, maybe you can work for some time in the garden and later you can go to another room for computer work. This are just a few examples but there are more possibilities and search the ones you like.

There are so many possibilities for adding extra steps to your day and if you use a pedometer you will notice the progress you make. You will be surprised how soon you reach the extra 2000 steps. Adding 2000 steps to your day is the key for a healthier life.

Are you convinced? Try it out but don't forget your regular exercise.
