THE SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR

Being a business owner especially in today's complex world takes special skills and knowing the rules of the game is probably the most important aspect of today's successful entrepreneurs.

The successful entrepreneur knows the rules of the Game. What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur? It takes knowing all about how business works. If you don't, you will be in for some surprises. You want to be ready for those surprises, which if you are ready, won't hit so hard as for the entrepreneur who never knew it was coming. You need to have good business knowledge to play the game of business.

The successful entrepreneur has a history of success. He knows how to be successful. He may not be successful to the world or to some people who do not know him or like him but he is successful for himself. He has achieved successes that he feels proud of and knows he can achieve other successes.

The successful entrepreneur is also an excellent leader, a good manager, a good accountant, and a positive thinker. He knows the rules of the game and is usually an extrovert. He is an excellent communicator, knows his product, and has high self-esteem.

The successful entrepreneur is always a leader, but knows how to listen to others. He knows how to start the process and see it through on his own without backup, but he also knows how and when to delegate. He knows how to lead his team.

He is a good manager and always knows how to manage his personnel, his team, and his business; and is able to supervise all aspects of any project that is part of his business.

The successful entrepreneur knows enough about accounting to do his own accounting or supervise an accountant he has hired. He must know about doing his own accounting even if he hires an accountant because he must be able to look at the work of his accountant and know that his accountant is doing the job right and the very best job possible for his company.

He is a positive thinker. You can't be a successful entrepreneur if you are always coming up with the negative. Everyone can come up with negatives. Like "we already tried that, but it didn't work." and "we already tried that too, but that didn't work either." The fact is that what this person is seeing negatively does work for successful entrepreneurs.

An entrepreneur should be an outgoing person or an extrovert who isn't afraid of the crowd. How are you going to be successful if you never can come to grips with your public? Your public is the key to your success. You have to be able to mingle with them, talk to them, and be their good friend.

One of the most important aspects of being a successful entrepreneur is good communication skills - talking on the phone, talking to people wherever you are, writing a good letter.

The successful entrepreneur knows about his product. What kind of business are you in? What do you sell? What is your service? You have to know everything there is to know about what it is that you sell, that you service, and what your business is about to be successful as a business owner.

Last but not least is high self-esteem. The successful entrepreneur always has high self-esteem. He knows who he is, where he is going, all about himself, and he likes himself. And he knows he can do the job because he is educated about business and knows all about how to manage and lead a successful business. And above all he knows the rules of the game of business.
