First Kiss (A Villanelle)
There is a ringing in my ears.
our sweet love, this first kiss,
I'm overwhelmed with fear.

before the moment of our bliss.
There is a ringing in my ears.

thinking how could I resist?

I want to think that you're sincere
when you hold onto my wrist
there is a ringing in my ears.
I'm overwhelmed with fear.
