Evaluating Winsor pilates

Winsor Pilates by Mari Winsor are easy to follow and will give you an excellent workout. Mari explains each move in detail and the moves are done in such a way that you flow easily from one move to another.

There is always one person on each video that is doing a modified version of each move, which is very helpful. If you are a beginner or have tight joints or a tender neck area, you will need to follow the person doing the modified version.

I personally consider Winsor Pilates basic video to be more targeted to the intermediate Pilates level. With the hour long video geared more toward the advance level. I myself have done Pilates for a long time and while I am in pretty physically fit, I have a bit of difficulty finishing the hour-long video.

I believe that Winsor Pilates are a little advanced for a beginner who has never done Pilates before. If you have never done Pilates, I suggest you start with a more basic beginner's workout video such as one of the Denis Austin Pilates videos. Denis Austin videos are much easier for a beginner to follow while learning the moves.

I also don't feel it is necessary to do Pilates for an entire hour. I have found that generally a 15 or 20 min Pilate's workout three or four times per week is usually enough to lengthen, strengthen, tighten and tone your entire body while also improving overall posture.

Mari Winsor is always improving and advancing her workout video sets. This really helps prevent boredom by providing a variety of workouts to choose between. With Winsor Pilates, you can always buy new videos with new workouts and even tools to use with the original moves in order to get a deeper workout and target the muscles better.

While Winsor Pilates are an excellent workout, However, I myself have found other Pilates workouts I enjoy much more while still getting the same results.
