Flash back- Cops, flash, pogo stick, flash, vomit, flash, darkness, flash, pain, flash, hunger, flash, loneliness, flash, sitting alone on the school bus, flash, dumping vodka out, flash, tears, flash, being smacked in the face, flash, hiding in the closet from the Mexican who made me _ck his balls at 8 years old, flash, watching mother pass out on couch, flash, hiding the gun from my drunk mother, flash, sitting in the dark closet for 8 hours, flash, looking at the burn marks on my arms that are now scars, FLASH, wanting my daddy to come home, flash, finding clean clothes for my little sister, flash, cleaning up my mothers vomit, flash, feeling a buckle smash into the back of my head, flash, looking around beer joints trash dumpsters at 2:00 in the morning so mother can buy more booze the next day, flash, hugging my daddy and wanting him home more to protect me, flash, putting butter on more cigarette burns on my to make them heal, flash, crying more, flash, hiding from the molesting Mexican neighbor in my closet, flash, stealing vegetables from neighbors yard to feed my little sister, flash, feeling left out of the world, flash, thinking of ways to get mother to stop drinking, flash, getting into a rollover in our v.w. with drunk mother at the wheel, flash, the police let mother go because she had 'children' in the car, flash, hating the police for letting us drive with her home, flash, hating the police for not taking her to jail, flash, putting up a front at church like everything is okay, flash, my mother leaves us and gets on a plane for Florida and stays for a month and a half leaving me and sister home alone while daddy works out of town......now I am grown.
