Why I Write About Making Money On the Internet

I've had a few complaints from readers who say I should write more articles about my adventures, family, and hobbies and quit doing these occasional articles on whether or not I'm making any money off these sites and, if so, how I'm doing it.

I write about things I'm interested in. One of those things is making money via my hobbies. Articles about tips and tricks for making money on the web and using Google Adsense are very popular draws on search engines. The keywords contained in my money-making articles bring lots of guest visitors to my sites, and those additional visitors drive my advertising revenue up.

I also advertise on a very small scale through Google Adwords to help bring additional members to my CHL Grapevine site. The primary intent of both sites are to provide vehicles for me to express myself and promote the things I believe in as well as to let friends and family scattered across the nation know what I am up to these days. All my other hobbies cost me money. This one I'm hoping to make pay for itself, plus a little extra so Robin and I can go to a nice restaurant once in a while.

So this is your tip for the day on how to drive a little extra traffic to your blogs and forums: write an article like this about how you are trying to make money on the world wide web abd share you successes and failures.

Maybe tomorrow I'll post the half finished lanscape painting I've been working on and write about it as I ask forgiveness of my readers who don't care whether I'm making any money on the web or not.
