Jogging on the side of the road safe? No way! I am no longer jog, but when I did, I would never think of doing it on a road.
Drivers today are so busy talking on their cell phones, listening to CD's or conversing with passengers that they simply do not take pedestrians into enough account.

If you want to jog for your health-go to a local high school and use their jogging tract-or if you're lucky enough to be a member at a gym-use the one provided at the location of your choice. First off and most important, it's safer-no cars, buses or motorcycles to dodge. Second, the tracts are designed to be shock absorbent so you don't hurt the joints you are trying to maintain the health of!
Personally, why would anyone want to risk their physical well-being to jog in such a precarious environment?
