Email scams and exploitation

"Guaranteed approval"
Do you know how many scams on the payday advance, cash advance, blah, blah, blah....are?
I counted in my email today 86 of these such emails.I counted in my email today 86 of such emails. All right, curiosity killed the cat
right? I clicked on one and filled out the questions that it asked. {I have good credit so

I shouldn't have a problem.}
Doing this led me to many different sites mostly going to credit
card schemes. I did this to each and every one of the emails, only to find out that I was not approved once. The wording on some of these emails definitely entices people to
go to these sites and enter their information, but to be turned away without being approved or better yet, receiving phone calls from the various different agencies that really don't have anything to do with the original email. Isn't this called false advertisement? I would think so. The law states "Unfair or deceptive act or practice
The dissemination or the causing to be disseminated of any false advertisement within the provisions of subsection (a) of this section shall be an unfair or deceptive act or practice in or affecting commerce within the meaning of section 45 of this title."
These emails are definitely deceptive. Something to think on.
