Making money on the Net?
I'm struck by a new idea for making money out of blogs.
As I've often toyed with the idea of making money from just posting entries I've done a lot of research into how you can get the most out of this. The findings I've come up with are that you need to post a paying banner on the site to get money from click through's.
If you've ever wondered why those Google Adsense banners appear everywhere, these people are making money without trying.
Now they aren't making a fortune, but they are making what would appear to me, a fare weekly wage. And that is what I've aiming at. After find a strange little article in an ebook, I like the idea of making money through posts. Basically the idea was that if you post a blog and it has a paying click-through banner, and just one person clicks on it, whilst reading your blog, you get paid 1 cent. So posting a banner where someone signed up for something at the other end, would bring you in even more money, lets say a dollar.
So imagine a world where you got 20 people a signing up to your banner programme? That would certainly subsidise my weekly wage. Of course you would have to write the equivalent of a couple of short stories a day, just to hit the ground running. But the article proposed the idea that you just blitz the blog forum with hundred of articles. Don't worry about the quality of what they are, just stick them in. Someone is bound to read them, and someone is bound to click on the banner. Just keep going and the odds are bound to be on your side.
A little hard?
Sure, but look at the other methods of making money on the net. You can make money by being paid to enter content on a forum. The only trouble with this is that you have to post hundreds a day, and write (in depth) on subjects you find mind numbingly boring. They only pay for what they deem, quality content. In other words, don't blitz them with rubbish. This isn't humanly possible, so you might as well write on something you enjoy. That way you can jot down the first thing which comes into your head on the subject, and research can be more engaging.
As for banner, my advice is to get something very low brow, with little effort, and no money up front!
Don't bother paying for any affiliate programme as you will never get your money back. Those people do those things because they have thrown thousands at the web site in advertising, and are sweating they will ever get a return. Sure, you will get someone sign up, but there are not enough fools in the world to eat it all up!
I like the paid-to-click banners, as they don't take a lot of work or mental effort. I tried to figure out a Roulette system, to bring me in a few bucks, and although it might work(on a small scale) it seemed to boring. And I though, hell this is just as bad as clicking on stupid banners for a quarter of a cent? So what the hell!
Remember, don't give them your real email address, as they love Spam, and worse. And be choosey about which network you blitz, as you don't want to mess on your own doorstep.
