Personally i have always been the outdoor type of person, and being raised in the great state of Texas i was taught to be ''one with nature''. I recently took a trip to Mills Canyon, New Mexico with a group of my best friends and along the way i started to notice different types of wildlife, different from west Texas that is. The further we went the more a began to appreciate northern New Mexico's wildlife and plant life but it wasn't until we arrived at Mills Canyon that i really started to look at the beauty of wildlife. The first night we were all sitting around the campfire and just soaking in the serenity and peace of the canyon and we began to hear the rustle of what we thought were rabbits or some other small animal. So being the typical invincible men we were, we went to go check out the little creatures and when we got closer to the sound we began to notice that the little rustle was more of a vicious scrapping, when we rounded the corner there stood the biggest cat i have ever seen, it was no rabbit, it was a danged mountain lion. To my surprise we no longer felt like ''invincible men'' we felt more like dinner. To this day i swear that Micheal Johnson himself could not have kept up to any four of us. A memory that will live with me forever.
