Here are 5 ideal gifts for the man in you life based on the type of man he is.

1. For the "sports fan", a new jersey and cap. The jersey should preferably be from his favorite sports team. This is usually the local team but you might drop a few hints to find out just in case. Also, if you can find out his favorite player that is a bonus. A good place to buy is usually your local mall but I would advise to shop around on-line first because mall stores are usually pricier.

2. For the "car guy", a K&N FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit). These can be found all over the internet or at local auto parts stores. They do vary in price based on the vehicle so be careful to order the right one for the correct year and model of his vehicle. This will add improved gas mileage, performance, and sound.

3. For the "do it yourselfer", a gift card to a local home improvement store like Home Depot or Lowes. This can be an added bonus for you, also. He might buy a new paint spreader and decide to paint the house or new tools and decide to fix some things on your "honey do" list.

4. For the "techie", almost anything for thinkgeekdot.com. Always check the what's new and the clearance sections. My personal favorites are the high powered green laser pointer, the "come to the dark side, we have cookies" tee shirt, and the USB Beverage Chiller.

5. For the "man that has everything", an IOU for sex when he wants it and you do not. Ladies do not make it open ended. Make sure it states that it is a one time use or has places on it that you can mark off when he uses up a session.
