The shortest complete sentence in the English language

The first thing that came to mind when I started on this article, is a biblical scripture and the sentence included only two words and those words are, "Jesus wept. Not only is this the shortest complete sentence to me but it is also known as the shortest verse in the whole bible. This sentence can be found in the book of John, the eleventh chapter, and the 35th verse: John 11:35. The question is what significance do these two words or this sentence have? Jesus had heard that Lazarus was dying but Jesus waited two days more before going to see him. When Jesus had gotten there, he was told that Lazarus was dead and that if He had gotten there sooner, Lazarus would not have died. This is where the sentence or the two words come in. Jesus wept, but was it because Lazarus died or was it because nobody had any faith that Jesus could still bring Lazarus back? As we all know, Jesus command the people to roll back the stone that had sealed the tomb and then He called for Lazarus to come forth. To everyone's amazement except Jesus' of course, Lazarus did come forth!
Sometimes it only takes two words to complete a whole sentence because as we can see, no other words were needed because the sentence was complete in itself.
