You know that time in your life when you feel like you're being pulled in different directions? There is what the world around you expects of you because of your age on one side and what you want for yourself on the other. It's almost like you're a rubber band being pulled in both directions, and not knowing which side to go for, you stay focused on the middle of everything for a fear it might snap! You settle in the middle hoping someone will come along and tell you what is the better path, or the safer road, or what will bring the most success. It seems like life is a series of this occurrence only put under different circumstances over and over again. That is why life is full of choices.
As of late this is what I have been experiencing. I call it the tension of opposites. My future. Do I want to go for my dreams, or continue in the course of a degree? My career path. Do I want to remain where I am in school or transfer somewhere? My relationships. Do I want to get married now or do I want to wait? You may want something, but you may also be bound to doing something else. We all go through it we just don't always explain it or maybe even catch that it crosses our minds.
Your future. Your Dreams. Your Career. Your relationships. Your choices. A lot of people consider important decisions in their life without thinking of the fact that it is not always about the destination, but about the journey. Granted that still doesn't give you answers for your major life decisions but you can be more relaxed about it. If you are a Christian we all have one thing in common and that is bringing glory to God. If what you are doing is furthering God's kingdom and you are building relationships then that is what it is about. God doesn't care as much about where you get to as he does for whom you become. Enjoy life. Use the talents and abilities He has given you but also remember life is a learning process about who you are and who God created you to be. Be someone great.
