Poetry: Darkness

No Words

A permanent scream is lodged in my throat
I can't remember yesterday
or a moment a go
I walk on ground
which gives way
beneath my feet.
I'm falling fast
and I'm beginning to think
that I don't care enough
to be saved.

I want to run
I want to hide
but there's no where to go
I just want to be left
alone
So I can crawl inside myself
and fall asleep
Pulling me back so far far back

Save it.

I'll feel it again.
