If you kind of like the idea of a Prius, but don't really want to drive a car that's quite that slow and Geeky looking, Check out the new Camry Hybrid. I think of it as a comfortable commitment. Not exactly the luxury car, but just one click away from their flagship, Avalon. Starting at 26,200, you will pay the expected 6K more than the middle models of Camry and will the 40 mpg instead of a still very reasonable 34 mpg from the normal Four cylinder really ever pay you for Back? Well. You do the math for your driving style, go ahead and extend it as far you like, it is a Toyota so it should last that long, add in that tax break for about half the up charge too.
If you like Camrys, you should like this. It looks just like a regular one. A bit more "athletic looking" than the generation the 2007 replaces, but I'd still say nice looking way before "hot", if you know what I mean. Inside and out shows you the car is built by people who know how to build cars. A fair sprinkling of standard features, the commons ones plus Satellite Radio, Power Drivers Seat, Electronic Stability Control. You can always kick it up a level with things like the Navigation System and Heated Front Seats.
You can get the Zen Package (One with every thing) for 5480 more.
If the Corolla is a no complaints kind of Driver, this scores a bit more positive, in fact you can think of this as a Corolla plus. The Hybrid performs better than the standard four, but not quite like the six. Like a 5? Camry in general is the best seller in the US eight of the last nine years, means there's plenty of smart people who are not as ego driven as you think. Just like they planned it a good car plus a bit more, that just happens to be a hybrid
