Ah, the Cowboy. His image brings to mind adventure, excitement and freedom. He's a little rough around the edges, a little wild and untamed, but that's his allure. There is a confidence in his swagger, in the way he sits a horse, and the tilt of his Stetson hat. He exudes raw masculinity. He's the kind of man that women want and men want to be.
The cowboy doesn't fit into the modern man's mold. He is a rare breed, his kind nearly extinct, but those few that remain are still clinging tenaciously to the cowboy way of life. He's not chained to a desk and doesn't punch a time clock. His skills were not acquired in some stuffy board room or corporate office. He learned his trade out on the open range, braving nature and the elements.
When a cowboy walks into a room, heads turn. Women are attracted to their easy manner and laid back attitude. The way they dress, the way they walk, the way they talk, all add to the romantic mystique of the cowboy. From the top of their well worn cowboy hats, down to their faded jeans and cowboy boots, they are the epitome of male virility and sexuality. Throw in a southern drawl and boyish charm and you've got a lethal combination. They are simply too much to resist.
Let's face it, ladies. There's something more attractive about a man who acquires his tan by working outdoors as opposed to going to the tanning salon. It's hard to have romantic notions about someone who takes longer to get ready for a date than you do. I don't care about perfectly toned abs that were worked out in the gym. I like the rock solid muscles gained from working hard day after day.
I'll pass on the metro-males. Thanks, but no thanks. If I want a shopping buddy, I'll call up one of my girlfriends. No, what I want is a man with callused hands, tight Wrangler jeans, dusty boots and southern charm. Give me a rough-and-ready cowboy any day!
