Depression is a very contagious disease. Depression begins to sneak its way into ones life. Once it creeps its way in,no one in close contact with the infected are safe. Mothers who once brightened their child's day with smiles and laughter may start to unknowingly ignore the nurture their children need.Husbands and wives may start to argue constantly and the love and passion they once shared could become a distant memory. Everyone around the depressed become aware of the sadness and lowered moral. Some relationships might end in divorce and some in tragedy. It is inconceivably important for those who love this person to show understanding and care enough to help them seek treatment for their disease.With the proper understanding and treatment depression doesn't have to kill a relationship.Actually,standing beside someone you love in their weakest moments can strengthen your relationship to new heights.
