Unrealistic expectations are not really that unrealistic. Maybe it is better to state in stead of unrealistic expectations, unexpected realizations.
To start sometimes you chat/ talk with a girl on the phone. She has a nice voice! Which now should mean: Nice Voice, Nice Girl! But at the time you finally meet, you feel like you are caught on Candid camera. That the first disappointment.
You realize that it is not what you expected.

Looking at movies and listen to stories, beautifully people always have nice voices, have blond hair etc... You will not find anything bad on them, except if it was a bad wizard or a bad witch made beautiful.

Most of the time those expectations are the cause of misjudgment. This because they did not teach us to expect the bad.

We judge things on one thing or few things. We just do not look at the bigger picture. If we had that, we would have judged better, so we did not realized the unexpected.
