Poetry: It is a wonder

Frankeinstein

Watched a movie and cried.
A movie on architecture,
never thought it would stab me.

The hands that built,
the palms that wept roughness,
now in my sub-conscious.

The pyramids, the gentle crystal sails
reaching out, breathing, living
through human bodies.

The fingers, the crumpled papers,
stuck together in imagination
to gather creative vaccination.

Only six others watched with me
and the lonely curtain yelped,
in the darkness of the velvet seats.

The fascinating child-like mind.
The ripe, the sweet smell in snapshots
carved themselves in the Dolby surround.

The touch on the granite wall sighed
as they enchanted, I died
and now I sigh the left days.

(dedicated to Frank Gehry)
