It surprises me that I would choose this option. I am all for parent or child led education, as I an a homeschooling mother of two young children. However, most parents would rather brush off sensitive, controversial subjects claiming that children can't understand or that it doesn't affect them.

Schools shouldn't be teaching the morality of homosexuality or bisexuality. They should let the children know of it's existence and of safe sex, just like they do for heterosexuality. It is up to the parents to add morality to the lesson. In school systems teachers should teach fact, parents should guide moral education.

Information about sexuality is important for children to have. Attraction starts as a young age. If proper information is unavailable, they have no basis for trying to make any decision. For children finding themselves attracted to the same sex will find it difficult living in a world where they are ashamed of who they are. Proper education can assist with that.

Homosexuality is a fact of our society. It should be taught by those assigned by the parent to teach.
