Ladies: Have you ever wondered why your man is so non-romantic? He does little things, but he just doesn't get what you mean by "romance". It comes up for most of us. It's such a popular topic it, you can see women discussing it on television everyday. Keep reading to see why.

There are varying degrees of romance. Most people are romantic in one way or another, the problem seems to be the level of romance (most) men function at is not the level the women want them to. Then once in a while they'll surprise you and knock your socks off with something that makes you wonder why you ever doubted their romantic nature, shortly there after it's back to life as usual.

Low Level Romance: This is the everyday little things a person does to let you know they care. EXAMPLES: Saying "I love you" out of the blue,doing an "icky" chore without having to be asked or reminded, making dinner so you don't have to, taking care of the kids so you can read a book and be "off duty" for a few hours...

Mid Level Romance: For this one, a person goes a bit more out of the way then in the low level, they really start showing they are thinking of you. EXAMPLES: Going to a store just to get something, buying you the thing you like just cause you mentioned you like it, taking you our for some pampering just because...

High Level Romance:This is what most of us consider "romance". It's planning going out of your way to give the two, (or more) of you a truly special time.EXAMPLES:Candle light dinner, a picnic in "our special place", a weekend alone to just spend together, Waking up to breakfast in bed the morning after, going to the theater...

Ultra-High Level Romance:Most people never get this, mainly because even if they wanted to, most couldn't afford it. It's doing something BIG and spontaneous.EXAMPLES:going to Italy for a real Italian dinner, taking you to Paris for the fashion show of your favorite designer, A vacation in Hawaii just to smell the flowers...

Knowing what your significant other wants from you, and being able to communicate with them what you want will improve your relationship all around. Remember to take the time to talk about your romantic wants and needs. If you need to, make a list of things your honey could do that you would find romantic so they can surprise you.
