Water isn't just the best beauty treatment. While everyone is starving themselves, missing meals or even exercising 5 hours a day I decided to put logic to the test and try out water. You've heard all the benefits of water from good skin, healthy digestion, more energy etc, and I'm sure there are more but did anyone stop to think that water could be the key to effective weight loss?
Here's a good example of how water has helped me lose weight. And no, I'm not going to give you a one in a million story about how I lost 5kg in two days! After injuring my elbow from weight training I feared the worst that the inactivity from not being able to do weights would result in weight gain but to my surprise my fears were cancelled out when I stepped onto the scales each morning. I wasn't losing a kilogram(pound) a day but the weight was very slowly coming off and might I add, I was doing nothing but watching seasons 1-5 of '24'.
Quite simply, As you continue to give your body all the water it could ask for, it gets rid of what it doesn't need (especially unwanted fat). The kidneys needs water to metabolise fat and the more means the more effective and efficient this fat metabolism is. If the kidneys are deprived of water, the liver has to do the work on its own.
