You have all probably heard the many different stories about Angels, how they do exist. You have also probably heard the many de-bunking stories trying to prove they are not real. Well my friends, I am here to tell you that they do in fact exist. I ask that while you read this article that you do so with an open mind, if you do you will see it from my point of view by the end of the article.

First let me tell you a little about who I am, that way you will at least be able to understand my thinking to a point. I am a forty eight year old father of four and have been divorced twice. Recently I retired from the Fire Department as a Paramedic Supervisor where I worked for twenty four years, and have been involved in EMS for thirty years. We lived in Maryland until last year when we moved to Virginia. As a Paramedic I have been surrounded by death, destruction and sickness for many years. During the 9-11 incidents I was sent to the Pentagon which is something that has forever changed me. In 2005 my life took another turn, a turn for the better when I married Denise. She is my Angel and you will soon read why. This is basically who I am and anybody familiar with Fire & EMS should be able to understand my thinking.

I have always been a believer in the paranormal, the afterlife and that sort of thing. I am even an amateur paranormal investigator with about three investigations under my belt. I do believe there is such a thing as an Angel, I don't know if any of them have wings, halos or harps but I do know they exist. I also believe they exist in many different forms, to guide us towards the right path in life and to bring us close to the things that will make a positive difference in our life. Even though many people take the wrong path, I feel that is because they are non-believers influenced by the dark side of life. Many of us face those dark influences on a daily basis, but most of us walk away from them. We know that by taking that wrong path only once can affect how we live our lives every day. But this is not an article on how to resist those forces, which are at times very powerful, this article is about how Angels have made a difference in my life.

On November 17, 2004 I met my savior, she is the one who brought me out of a very big down period. This person is Denise, the women who would become my Wife, only I did not know it at the time, I also did not know that our meeting was pre-arranged. Time went on and she moved in with us
