or image search, and is pretty well colorless. How did it make this list? It came up with 10,200,000,000 results for "a". That is the sole reason.
ReallyBigSearch.com has a decent homepage, but doesn't have any color. It rates above ScrubtheWeb, but just barely.
FindItQuick.com
With 12,755,709,868 results brought in, FindItQuick.com gets the award for the most results. It also comes with free e-mail, free screensavers, weather, jobs, travel, hosting, and shopping. If it weren't for the small font, this site might just be perfect. It even has videos.
With all the features offered, plus the enormous amount of results, FindItQuick.com could be the top pick as the best Google replacement site.
Web-Search.com
Web-Search. com is more of a metasearch engine than an actual search engine. For those of you out there who don't speak geek, a metasearch engine searches major search engines and compiles the results, eliminating doubles. Web-Search.com allows you to choose which search engine it pulls its results from. It has most of the normal search engines, plus an area code search and a zip code search.
Web-search has a very basic and unattractive homepage. However, you aren't going to marry it, so who cares. If it works for you, use it.
Earthlink.com
While the Earthlink search engine is powered by Google, it actually came up with more results. 9,230,000,000 was the magic number. The search took .04 seconds, which is a tie for the fastest search engine. Earthlink also has a local, image, and shopping search feature, along with e-mail and Internet access.
Earthlink can hook you up to the Internet, give you e-mail, and find something for you as fast or faster than anything else like it. However, in each separate category, there is at least one other site that beats it. For an all-around good website, go to Earthlink.com.
MyWay.com
MyWay.c om is another of those quasi-metasearch engines. MyWay actually searches three major search engines: Ask.com, Google.com, and Yahoo.com; and then tabs the results by the search engine. There is an Ask tab, a Google tab, and a Yahoo tab, for those who didn't understand. It filtered out all the duplicate results and came up with a grand total of all three of 11,484,347,464 results in 1.02 seconds all together. While that appears slow compared to the other search engines listed, it is still extremely fast. The difference is still barely noticeable. MyWay also has news, videos, images, and MP3 searches.
MyWay also has free online e-mail. The homepage doesn't
