Personal enlightenment

At times, I encounter souls dazed in a thick fog, unable to see what exists above them. When I question them as to why they have no desire to peer further, I get a repetitive response. The majority of people in this stage are simply afraid of what they will find beyond this conditioned state. They don't want to get too deep, they prefer living simple and almost blinded lives. As if one would watch a movie of the mountain climber rather than to become the climber themselves.

Regardless of all the studying and research I have accomplished and continue to do, I have never lost touch with the hidden truths of this journey we call life. I do not limit myself to gathering my information from outside myself, I collect my true wisdom from within. I have observed that most do not even attempt to look inside for answers. Maybe it is because they are frightened of what they possess? Maybe it is that they don't hold themselves in such a position to think they are powerful beings with deep insights and intuition? The bottom line is that, it is exclusively within yourself that you will ever find what you need.

Studying ancient wisdom, geology, astronomy, physics, and other topics of interest does not make me a wiser soul. These are all simply hobbies, just as you reading these words may find your own personal outlet in music. It is entirely about following your bliss, and finding that in which you feel passionate about. Take your passion and make it happen.

Although I view this world as an observer and student to any life lessons being put in my path, I forever grasp the composite energy of being a powerful creator, as well as a teacher for others. Throughout my studies I have found the most rewarding part of this journey towards enlightenment has been inspiring others to join me. It is almost as if we start in the mud, and the duration of our lives are to be used trying to climb the mountain in front of us with hopes of reaching the top. However, after I came a single footstep from this mountain's peak, I chose to retrace my steps and remain on the side of this steep and challenging slope in order to pull my brothers and sisters up with me. Although the view from the top seems so near, the gratification of this opposite action has made all the difference in my life. With the seemingly endless knowledge to gain, it is easy to forget that we too are mentors for many others. There will forever be observers learning and growing from your set examples. Every single action, minor or significant, has a chain like reaction and a string line of following events triggered by it alone. We are together co-creating the world around us.

I stand aware and alert on the side of this mountain. I watch with grace and peace as some pass me by, and encouraging those below me to keep struggling to climb higher. This is my purpose, this is my place. I am not meant to attain the entire truth, I am here to assist more of our surrounding sleeping souls to awaken from within and begin their journey. This is my passion, this is my bliss. This is what I believe in.

The call continues to go out for those who are willing to stick their head above the fog and take a stand for what they too believe in. After all, if you never peered beyond it, you would never see the mountain itself. The question is, what do you believe in? More importantly, do you have the courage and conviction to embody those truths and live them gently, totally and consistently everyday for the rest of your life? If so, I will see you on the slopes.
