As a girl who owns 4 Coach bags that I use day-in and day-out, my appeal to the brand centers around the fact that I can purchase a top quality product that will withstand the abuse I put it through on an everyday basis.

My first Coach bag, I purchased when I was 19 (4 years ago) with money that I had put aside while working and attending college. It was a black leather soho-style hobo bag, and I still use it today and it looks just as fabulous as the day I bought it.

My other bags are also classic, universally reasonable pieces; a doe-colored gallery tote, a pink swing bag for when I'm carrying the bare necessities, and and because I use my "good" handbags on a regular basis, I tend to gravitate towards ones that I can carry for years.

For me, my purse is my lifeline. On a regular day, you can find not only the expected, run of the mill contents such as my wallet, checkbook, keys, and cell phone; but I also keep a makeup bag filled to the zipper, a hair brush, a notepad and multiple pens for notes on the go, my iPod, and my digital camera. All of my Coach bags hold up extremely well under the pressure of toting my belongings every day. I can't tell you how many bags I've purchased on a whim from average retailers fray and lose their shape, or just don't hold up half as well as my Coach bags do.

Granted, buying one isn't a regular thing for me. I save up here and there and don't discriminate against the nearby Coach outlet store. (Hey, if you're going to treat yourself, you can still do it smartly.) I'm reasonable about the luxuries I have. As much as I adore the elaborate satchels, I invest in pieces that I know I'll be able to use continuously, repeatedly, without fail. For me, my Coach goods are most certainly worth the money.
