Look around and see what's needed in your area and set out to begin slowly to build a business around this need. It could be you live in a rural area and there are no stores within twenty miles that sells milk, bread, etc.
You ask why this is so, and you find that there are too few customers buying too few eggs, milk, and other perishable supplies. And no one wants to buy stale cereal. So, if the only way the residents can get the basics is to go the distance to the bigger store.
You ask: how can I help? You have little money, but you have a covered pickup truck, a telephone, several cooler cases and a large unused room at your place. You also have several friends that visit on the weekends. But you live in this area all the time and out of boredom and a need for a job, you want to help out.
You hang around the big store and see if you cannot strike up a deal with the owner. Explain the problem and ask him if he will sell you what you need at a lower price, and start yourself a delivery business. You can keep non perishable items at your place and get the milk, the butter, the eggs, the meat, at the store. He will not only sell more but you will begin your own little business.
Regularly visit these forlorn residents and weekend visitors and take their orders. In time you will build up a good little business that eventually you can turn into a better one. Its all ingenuity, know-how, and filling a need. That's how business' started in the first place. Someone had a need and someone else was there to fill it.
