There are a few things that I have done in my life that I'm proud of.
The first one is graduating from High School. I have learning disabilities and school was always very hard for me. I struggled alot and there were time I thought I would never make it, but I did. Hearing my name called walking across that stage looking out in to the crowd of people seeing my Mom standing clapping and yelling for me was one of the Proudest moments in my life, cuz I had made it though.
The second proudest moment in my life was the day I gave birth to my son. I never new that being a Mom would bring such joy to our lives. I remember holding him for the first time and thinking WOW this is my son. Watching him grow and feeling so proud when he did something big like walking for the first time and thinking I taught him that and feeling so happy that he learned it so quickly.
In June he graduated from the 8th grade and is starting High School this fall. When I heard his name called and saw him walk across that stage I was so happy. I looked of at my Mom and My Mother-in-law and they along with me had tears running down their face. I looked at my husband, my step dad and my Father-in-law and they all had these huge smiles on their faces and were sitting up so tall. We were all so proud of him. But as his mother I was very proud to know that I have done something right in my life to have raised such a wonderful son.
I know that when he graduates from high school I will be just as proud of him if not more so. Becoming a mother is the proudest moment in my life.
