Since when do the Republicans and Democrats talk about a special status for China or any country. The Republicans, Democrats and other mediocre people have the nerve to talk about China's Human Rights Records while supporting dictators such as Castro, Chavez, Mugabe and repressing dissent at home.

The idea of Trade should not be "special" or "privileged". People should be allow to trade with whom they want without Big Brother watching over us. People and countries should allow to trade without the need for permits, or other absurd rules called protectionism.

If a person wants to buy products made abroad, let them. If a person wants to buy products made in the USA, let them.

It is my desire one day to see a world not dominated by groups that restrict trade but allows free trade without customs, duties, import taxes, and other bureaucratic stupidities.

The time has come to say yes to Free Trade [including trade with China] and say NO to Politicians who are the cause of all of the hate and strife in the world.
