Okay, since I've read all of these posts, I have noticed a bit too many people saying Kal-El is the best. Well, to go along with the first post, I'll just have to put ol' Superman in his place by ranking the top 5 most powerful superheroes of all time.

1. Silver Surfer./Norrin Radd- This is a no-brainer. We even have the Silver Surfer/Superman team up to prove it. Granted, neither could hurt one another, but at the end who was it who fixed it all back to normal? c'mon who? c'mooooon....

<<t lose any smarts because he never reverts back to the human form!

2. Superman/Kal-El. He might not be as fast o as strong as the Surfer, but he's beat more foes. That has to count for something.

3.Spawn. -c'mon this guy runs hell nowadays!So he's at least as powerful as Malebolgia, maybe even more.

4. Green Lantern/Hal Jordan- Well he does have CONSIDERABLE cosmic energy in that ring of his. Also, it's those cosmic energies that allowed the only superhero defeat of Silver Surfer, cause only the first Green Lantern's(Alan Scott) ring was magical.
All later ones have been cosmic.

5. Hulk/Bruce Banner- If you can't get in his mind, the "Banner" just keeps on coming!Not even Thor could best him one-on-one. And now he doesn't lose any smarts cause he never turns back into human form!

This topic should have been Top 30 Superheroes, not most powerful. The outcome would have been way different.
