The lover as rapist: An alarming trend

Rape is rape. No means NO. It does not matter how far the rapist is allowed to go. A women's clothing has nothing to do with it. When the woman says NO, she means NO. Not maybe if I just push it she'll just agree. When you are violated by man or woman, it does not only harm your body, it harms your spirit when you are violated by one you trust.

There are many different kinds of rape. They can rape your body, or rape your mind by with holding information you should have or duping you with lies to get what they want. They can rape your bank account, which should be self explanatory. They can also rape your spirit by enforcing their will upon you and destroying your life if you do not capitulate.

I believe that rape of the spirit or denying and raping you of your humanity is far worse than any physical rape. You heal from physical wounds. However your psyche scars never get a chance to heal. Instead you are medicated for being depressed or given a behavioral deficiency diagnosis and medicated or committed to an institution for care.

As long as domestic violence is allowed to happen, men will continue to rape us. They are the stronger sex physically, and in this society given free reign to enforce their will upon women and any creature they decide they have a right to beat or kill. I suppose that in their own book written for them, by them, about them, they created themselves in the image of their God, when in actuality they created their God in the image of them.
