A good education can get you far, but you must be willing to start small. Not all jobs are going to hire you just because you have a college degree, they want you to have experience as well. I see one of the biggest problems college student have is that they expect to have a high paying job straight out of college, and when a job offer comes around they may say your only paying $25,000 a year thats nothing, I should be receiving $75,000 because I went to school for this. See a good education isn't only having the diploma, its actually doing what you may be doing for the rest of your life. Like a networking student sure he can read a book about how to build a network, but has he built a network. I remember while I was attending a college for computer engineering I had to take a networking class. All of our course material was online and we did a lot of hands on work. Later in the semester a project came up where a school she knew bout needed a network built, she requested a couple students assist her this was the perfect opportunity to get experience in building and creating a network. So a good education I believe is more than just whats in the books, but also being able to experience so when your employed your a better candidate. An education can get you as far as your willing to go you just have to work for it.
