How to deal with driving phobia. Phobia's come in all different strengths. You have to try and deal with it. Weather it is with medication or sheer willpower. If you are afraid to drive. I would say take only short trips around the block down the street. Get use to being behind the wheel. Make sure to breathe while you are driving. Think of how nice it would be to be able to take a trip. Or go to the movies and maybe out to dinner. Driving it not dangerous as long as you keep your eyes on the road. Drive the speed limit and always be aware of what is around you. I know it is hard to overcome a phobia. I am dealing with my own fear of being around a lot of people. I also have a fear of heights. I am hoping I can one day over come them. It is hard, but with faith and trust you can overcome.
