Spread Your Wings and Fly

Well she's forty-six and counting,
All her dreams have passed her by,
They say that it's way to late,
She shouldn't waste her time,
Time is all she has,
She still feels young inside,
Everyone else may be giving up
But she still has to try...

She'll spread her wings and fly,
Just like a butterfly,
She'll leave all that's been said and done behind,

She'll do her thing her way,
It doesn't matter what they say,
Who do they think they are, anyway?

No one can tell you what to believe in,
Your heart can be forever young,
Your spirit it will go on always,
And it can be reborn,
Have a little faith in the Father,
Have a little faith in His son,
With the Holy Spirit guiding you
Your life has just begun,

Spread your wings and fly,
Just like a butterfly,
Leave all that's been said and done behind,
Do your thing your way,
It doesn't matter what they say,
Who do they think they are, anyway?

Well she's 46 and counting,
All her dreams are coming true,
Those she couldn't trust,
She left in her dust,
But she still prays that you, will
